New York Investment, Wealth Management Recruiter Adds New Partner

New York-based investment and wealth management recruiter David Barrett Partners has appointed John Knapp as a partner in their New York office.

Knapp will be working closely with the existing team to build the firm's recruiting presence in the US and international asset and wealth management arenas, splitting his time between the New York and Boston offices.

Knapp has over twenty years of financial services and management consulting experience, spending the past decade in investment and wealth management leadership roles.

He was most recently based in Egon Zehnder's Boston office, where he was head of asset management search practice for the US and a member of their global board and Financial Officers Practice Groups.

Before this, he spent six years with Fidelity Investments, most recently as vice president for institutional wealth services where he was responsible for product development, management and marketing of institutional wealth solutions for Fidelity's investment advisor business. He also has experience as a management consultant, including eleven years at Andersen Consulting and Accenture.

David Barrett Partners is a boutique retained executive search firm specializing exclusively in investment and wealth management recruiting.
